Why It Matters

This week we've been looking at the way we view ourselves and why it matters.

On Tuesday we talked about the possibility that we read the words of 1 Peter 4:8 that tell us love covers a multitude of sins to mean that love covers a multitude of flaws. In case you missed it, that post can be found HERE.

On Wednesday we learned that the way we view ourselves often manifests itself in our behaviors. Need a rerefresher? You can find that post HERE.

On Thursday, we read Pslam 139 and were asked to answer a difficult question at the end. In case you forgot or didn't get a chance to think about your response, you can find that post HERE.

And yesterday, when it was freezing cold (and still is today) we discovered that the only way to combat our inner beliefs that manifest themselves in outward actions, is to allow God to transform our minds. That post can be found HERE.

Let's use the time today to catch up on what we might have missed if it was too cold to get out of bed,  our kids were climbing on us because they were home, or we know we need to be reminded of what we so easily forget.

Got the time? Check out this 2017 Passion Conference talk from Francis Chan that is a perfect depiction of why our thoughts need to be replaced.
